We made it through report card and conference week so now we head to MCAS Testing for ELA on Wednesday the 21st for Session #! and then on Monday the 26th for Session #2. With testing on Wednesday of this week, there will be no homework assigned on Tuesday evening, rendering after-school hours rather useless, so therefore, there will be none offered on Tuesday. We will have hours as usual on Thursday as there will be a brief Unit 11 assessment in Math on Friday the 23rd.
The 5th grade field trip to Concord to visit the scene of the opening shots of the Revolutionary War will be held on April 10th and 11th. We will be making the journey with Mrs. Boucher's class on one of these days. As soon as we know more we will be sending info home regarding the trip and possibly looking for chaperones to join us.
Human Growth and Development for the 5th grade class is scheduled be held on Thursday and Friday, April 12th and 13th.
Just a reminder for this week, the students reading My Brother Sam is Dead and Woods Runner will have a vocabulary quiz on the first half of their respeective books.
